Scope and field of application
These racks are designed for relay and other equipment of signalling and telecommunication systems when installing relay electric interlocking systems and computer-based interlocking systems in temperate and cold climates (UKhL) with location category 4.2 according to GOST 15150-69. These devices may be placed in standard stationary relay facilities, in transportable modules and in MK ATS mobile units.
SUR1-2, (SUR2-2) two-sided racks with rotating frames are designed to accommodate plug-in signalling system equipment on both sides of the rack. SUR1-P (SUR2-P) wall-mounted racks are designed to accommodate rotating frames on the front side (for plug-in signalling system equipment) and stationary frames on the inner side (for non-plug-in equipment).
SUR1-K (SUR2-K) switch racks are designed to accommodate terminal boards and switchboards for splicing wayside cables and connecting to tower equipment.
