Scope and field of application

Sealed jumpers are designed to provide electrical connection between impedance bonds and wayside equipment. They are primarily used in track circuit and signalling equipment systems.
These jumpers are made with a cable in a shell, which has been extruded from PVC plastic. The sealing of the PVC joint and the metal tube is achieved by way of a heat shrink tube with an adhesive layer, which further improves the reliability and integrity of the jumpers.
