Scope and field of application

ST-4P transformers are designed for continuous operation as part of railway signalling, interlocking and blocking systems with alternating current power supply of 50 Hz frequency and 220 V voltage. According to their electrical parameters, they are fully interchangeable with ST-4M and ST-4G transformers.

Advantages

• Protected from dust, the plastic casing ensuresthe windings are reliably protected from moisture.
• Unlike the existing version, these transformers can be mounted in four different positions instead of one.
• The magnetic core is shielded from the environment, meaning it is fully protected against corrosion.
• The transformer may be connected either using the standard pin method or spring-loaded quick release connectors.
