Scope and field of application

This device is used to supply power to computer based, hybrid and relay electric interlocking system equipment, as well as to other computer-based, electronic and relay signalling system equipment.
UEP-U-ShPT devices produce the necessary polarity of the power supply, which provide the guaranteed power loads, as well as uninterruptible power supply to signalling equipment with various voltage levels and current types.

Main features

• providing uninterruptible three-phase power supply to signalling equipment in various external power supply systems (three-phase, single-phase, mixed);
• automatically switching from one external power source to another whenever the power disappears or no longer meets the voltage requirements;
• galvanic isolation of signalling equipment loads from external power supply devices;
• N+1 redundancy of rectifier and inverter modules;
• possibility to hot swap rectifier and inverter modules;
• continuity of power supply loads connected to the UPS for a specified duration of time from batteries, when switching to a different external power supply or when disconnecting them;
• automatic and manual switching of power supply devices for computer-based interlocking and signalling system equipment, bypassing inverter during maintenance;
• power supply of any polarity to power up CIS, relay EI and signalling systems;
• built-in diagnostics subsystem that controls device operation, and indicates, displays and records the status of UEP-U-ShPT and other elements. This information may then be forwarded to CIS and TDMS.
