In 2024, a new record was set for the implementation of MPC-EL on Russian railways
Last year, 77 railway stations of the Russian Railways network were equipped with the MPC-EL computer-based interlocking system for switches and traffic lights from ELTEZA JSC - almost a quarter more than a year ago, about 1,300 switch control facilities were included. Since its launch in 2017, MPC-EL already controls train traffic at more than 200 stations throughout Russia.
As part of the implementation of the program to modernize and increase the capacity of the Eastern Polygon in 2024, MPC-EL was implemented at 62 stations. Moreover, the Far-Eastern Railway became the absolute leader in the number of launches - here 102 stations and more than 950 switch control facilities are already under the control of our system.
ELTEZA continues to develop integrated train traffic control systems on railway sections. Last year, 35.4 km of railway track were equipped with ALSO-EL and ALSO-EL-P automated train protection system and 69 km with ABTC-EL automatic line-blocking system.
These systems automate the control and management of train traffic on single-track and multi-track railway sections, providing a high level of integration with other automated systems and devices of the railway signalling system, as well as automation of diagnostic functions.
