The Testing Center of ELTEZA confirmed and expanded the state accreditation
The Testing Center for signalling equipment passed the planned confirmation of competence in the current field of accreditation and received an extension of the scope of accreditation based on the results of an audit appointed by the Federal Accreditation Service. As a result of the expansion, the Scope of accreditation has increased by 150 new methods, including 46 at a new site in Armavir, Krasnodar region.
Thus, at present, the scope of Testing Center accreditation extends to 751 test methods at 4 sites: two in Armavir, one in Kamyshlov, Sverdlovsk region, and one in Moscow.
With the opening of the new laboratory in Armavir, completely new methods have been introduced for determining the lighting characteristics of LED optical systems for railway traffic signals (color coordinates, light intensity, etc.) in all operating modes (under normal climatic conditions, under the influence of climatic factors, mechanical loads, electromagnetic interference, dust and rain). This event was implemented with the aim of organizing tests of LED light–optical systems for railway traffic light signaling installed in traffic lights manufactured by the Armavir Electromechanical Plant, a branch of ELTEZA JSC.
The Moscow site of the Testing Center has expanded its accreditation for testing the effects of various types of dust (abrasive, non-abrasive, conductive, non-conductive). And the laboratory in Kamyshlov is now equipped and accredited for testing the effects of mechanical loads in terms of vibration.
The Testing Center of ELTEZA JSC received its first accreditation in the railway transport certification system in 2005, and since 2014 it has been accredited by the unified National Accreditation body, established in 2013, after the entry into force of the Federal Law on Accreditation in the National Accreditation System FZ-412.
The Testing Center confirms its competence every 2 years in accordance with the Law on Accreditation. In addition, the center underwent the procedure of expanding the scope of accreditation several times, as a result of which it was increased several times compared to the original one.
The accreditation gives the center the right to conduct tests to confirm the conformity of signalling products in the mandatory field to the regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 002 and TR CU 003, in the voluntary field of certification and to confirm compliance with standards. In order to obtain the right to work within the borders of the Customs Union, the Testing Center was checked for compliance with additional requirements in accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Economic Development No. 2050, as a result of which it was included in the National part of the Register of the Customs Union.
