Scope and field of application
This system allows to automate rail traffic control and management processes on single and multi-track sections, ensuring the required level of integration with other automated systems and signalling equipment, and automation of diagnostic processes.
ABTC-EL ensures two-way traffic on each line of any section using wayside light signals and locomotive light signals that are installed in the cabin of locomotives moving in the right direction, as well as locomotive light signals that are installed in the cabin of locomotives moving in the wrong direction on a specific railway section.

Main features
- logical control of trains passing on a track circuit of a specific section;
- section TC encoding, including automatic train protection with fixed or variable block sections;
- changing the movement direction of trains on a specific railway section;
- integration with dimension control systems, bridge protection systems and others (TDCS, DCE), level-crossing protection systems, track fitter warning systems, etc.
- three or four-aspect signalling;
- solutions may include intermediate signals on the borders of block sections or not (ATP);
- ATP-EN management using either relay interface or digital interface for digital track circuits;
- integration into the MPC-EL or working as a standalone headway control system with systems of other types;
- equipment may be installed at block-signal stations or within transportable modules.
